Health & Healing Sunday: Making an impression during our depression

This project bridges the gap between spiritual care and psychological wellness by bringing culturally sensitive mental health assessments, resources, and support to faith-based communities. Rooted in compassion and collaboration, the initiative seeks to normalize conversations around emotional health, equip spiritual leaders with tools for supportive care, and provide individuals access to services that affirm both their mental wellbeing and spiritual identity. Through workshops, peer support models, and embedded resource networks, the project fosters healing environments were faith and mental health walk together.

To reinforce this commitment, the team returned one month later to provide continued support, assess progress, and deepen relationships with congregants and church leaders.
